The Power of Coaching

By: Kristin Martineau | April 24, 2019

Yesterday, my husband came home from work and invited me on a bike ride.

He didn’t mean around the neighborhood.

20 miles- 10 up with a 1500 ft vertical climb, 10 back down

I said no.

I haven’t been training at that level.

I’ve been hauling 100+ pounds of kids around in our new cargo bike for hours the last few days.

My legs are tired.

I probably haven’t eaten enough today, I won’t have enough energy.

I don’t want to leave the kids.

We might get run over.

Did you believe me?  Some people call these things reasons, I call them thoughts.

Sometimes I believe my thoughts, but I’m getting better at recognizing and questioning what my brain tells me.

I was on to myself.

So I decided to believe a new thought.

I’ll just see how far I can go.

I made it. ALL. THE. WAY.

I haven’t experienced that kind of exhilaration in a long time.

I’m glad I didn’t believe my initial thoughts.

What are you believing that’s holding you back?

You can do so much more than you think you can.

It takes practice my friend, to observe your own brain.

Coaching has taught me how to do that.

It’s not some wishy-washy theory.  There’s a step by step process and I’ll teach it to you. Once you know it, your life will never be the same. I really mean that.

I reserve a few free 30 min sessions a week. CLICK HERE to grab a spot.

If there is ANYTHING in your life that you are struggling with, I can help you. I’ll teach you the formula and then you can use it to help yourself forever.
